About Us

What is French Corder Cabinet Painting?

We are proud to be a woman owned and operated cabinet painting business in Middle Tennessee.

Providing superior quality and attention to detail are our top priorities. We love to paint! Seeing the transformation that occurs, from color selection to final strokes is what inspires us. It is exciting to see a great color palette and design plan change the entire feel of an environment.

If it’s time to revive your kitchens’ appeal with cabinet refinishing, please send us a message. We offer free estimates on all of our services.

MJ Corder

I was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. After graduating with a Fine Arts degree from the University of Kentucky, I moved to Nashville, Tn to pursue a career in graphic design. After years of working as a freelance graphic designer, I decided it was time to step out from behind the computer.

I never thought in a million years that I would love painting as much as I do, but I am a perfectionist, and refinishing cabinets is definitely a job that requires perfection and attention to detail.

When I am not painting or designing on the computer, you can find me spending time with my family: hubby, son, daughter and two obnoxious cats. We live in the beautiful town of Nolensville, Tn. I love traveling abroad, mid-century modern art & architecture, anything animal related, and queso.

Hello, I'm Shannon. I live in the quaint little town of Kingston Springs with my son, and I love to create! I have attended art school and spent 13 years in the field of graphic design.

I discovered a love for painting while trying to update and outfit my home on a budget. I've always had the mindset of a do-it-yourselfer, and with a ton of triaI and error, I have learned A LOT!! A multitude of home projects and furniture pieces later, I find myself here, eager to assist you in transforming your kitchen, bath, or favorite furniture.

“Just don’t give up trying to do what you really want to do. Where there is love and inspiration, I don’t think you can go wrong.”

- Ella Fitzgerald
